I had high hopes for this holiday park, especially being so close to Byron Bay. The location is stunning, just a short walk to the beach, which is a definite plus. However, my overall experience was marred by issues with the service and the cramped sites. While it's lovely to have the greenery around, fitting our larger rig was challenging, and I felt like I was paying a premium for less than ideal space. A real shame, as I was really looking forward to this trip.

This park is located very close to the beautiful beach, just a short walk away. It's also a stone's throw from the iconic lighthouse, which I loved.

I was really excited about our stay, as this place seemed perfect for a family beach holiday, but it turned out to be extremely disappointing. Despite securing a beachfront site months in advance, we were suddenly informed that our reservation was canceled and reallocated to a less desirable spot. The management's lack of communication and unwillingness to provide a fair alternative left a sour taste. The location is lovely, but the overall experience was tarnished by poor service and disregard for customer commitments.

We were moved to a back site near the road, which was far from what we initially booked. It felt cramped and not at all what we expected for the price we paid.
Service

Communication from the management was lacking and unhelpful when we raised our concerns about the site change. They seemed dismissive and unconcerned about the impact on our family vacation.

The location is beautiful, with easy access to the beach, which was a major draw for us. It's unfortunate that the management decisions overshadowed this advantage.

Facilities were standard, but nothing stood out. The park itself had a lovely setting with nice gardens, which I appreciated during our stay.

The park offers a unique and natural camping experience, nestled among maintained gardens and bushland, providing direct access to the beach. The amenities are well-kept with great shower facilities, but the campsite lacks adequate lighting in certain areas, causing discomfort during nighttime. Overall, value for money feels a bit high considering the standard amenities provided.
Rooms

The camping site was decent but rather standard compared to others I've experienced, especially given the price. It felt a bit cramped at times, especially with no additional features to justify the higher cost.
Service

The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which was a highlight. However, they seemed overwhelmed with the number of guests, and their responsiveness suffered a bit.
Location

The location is fantastic, as it's just a short walk to the main town and right next to the beautiful beach. This made it easy to explore without needing a car, which I loved.

The amenities, such as the camp kitchens and laundry facilities, were excellent and well-maintained. However, it was let down by the lack of lighting in certain areas of the park.

My family was really looking forward to our beachfront holiday at Clarke's Beach, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. They informed us just a week before our stay that our booked site was no longer available, moving us to a much less desirable location next to the main road instead. Despite our effort to resolve the issue with management, their response was unsatisfactory and left us feeling let down. However, when we finally got to stay at a different location with a more positive experience, the cabin was wonderful, right by the beach, making it all worthwhile in the end.

The location of our alternate cabin was perfect, just a short stroll to the beach and a bit more distance to Byron town for restaurants.
Dining

We enjoyed cooking in the cabin but didn't get a chance to explore nearby dining options, as we opted for meals at the cabin instead.

Facilities were decent with the cabin designed nicely, but I encountered some issues with the cleanliness of the park's bathrooms.
